LostPlace Rules

These rules are designed to ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all players. Please read them carefully and adhere to them at all times.

By joining the server, you agree to follow these rules. Failure to comply may result in penalties, including warnings, temporary or permanent bans.

General rules

Respect and Couresy

• Courtesy: Treat all players with respect, regardless of their experience level. Kindness promotes a positive community.
• Insults and hate speech: Any form of insults, discrimination, bullying or hate speech (based on gender, race, religion or other characteristics) is strictly prohibited.

Cheats and exploits

• Prohibited modifications: The use of cheats, hacks, bots or any modifications that give you an unfair advantage (such as X-Ray or Aimbots) is not allowed.
• Exploits: Report discovered bugs or exploits immediately to the server administration. Exploiting bugs to gain an advantage is prohibited.

Griefing and robbery

• Griefing: Destroying, altering or damaging other players' buildings and properties without their permission is strictly prohibited.
• Theft: Stealing items, resources or possessions from other players will not be tolerated. Possession of stolen items is also prohibited.

Advertising and spam

• No advertising: Advertising other servers, websites or products is not permitted.
• Spam: Avoid excessive chatting, repetitive messaging or flooding the chat with emojis or links.

Language and behavior

• Civility in chat: Stick to appropriate language. Do not use offensive or insulting terms.
• No trolling: Troll behavior that intentionally disrupts or annoys other players is not allowed.

Building and resources

Building areas & property

• No building: Build only in zones approved by server administration or with the express permission of the property owner.
• Marking of properties: Use signs or other markers to mark your property. Respect the boundaries of other players.

Gamemodes and Events

Fair play in events

• Honesty: In server events, competitions and mini-games, it is important to follow the rules of fair play.
• Team play: Encourage teamwork and support among players during events.

Support new players

• Offer help: Encourage experienced players to help new players. Share resources and offer support.
• Tutorials: Create guides or tutorials to help new players get started.

Penalty and consequences

Offenses and penalties

• Warnings: For minor offenses, the player receives a warning.
• Temporary bans: Repeated or more serious offenses may result in temporary bans (e.g. from 1 day to 1 week).
• Permanent bans: Particularly serious offenses (such as severe griefing, cheating or racist comments) may result in a permanent ban.
• Appeals: Players have the right to appeal penalties. Please contact the server administration.

Changes and updates

• Rule changes: The server administration reserves the right to change the rules at any time. Changes will be announced in the server chat or on the website.
• Feedback: Players can submit suggestions to improve the rules.

Additional provisions

Data protection and security

• Privacy: Respect the privacy of other players. Do not share personal information without consent.
• Security: Use strong passwords and do not share your login information.

Use of voice chat

• Voice chat guidelines: When using voice chat, follow the same rules of courtesy and respect as in text chat.

Responsibility

• Personal responsibility: Every player is responsible for their own behavior. Ignorance of the rules does not protect against consequences.
